It’s that time of year. The time to look back and focus on all of the great things that happened this past year. While in many ways 2017 was a very trying year (two surgery’s), it was also great (oldest child finally got his driver’s license and won some acting awards). . But here, here we talk books, so I’m going to start posting my #top10of2017. These are not really in any particular order because I cannot figure out how to rank them. It made Goodreads list of top books for the year. I saw a lot of myself in Merit. Maybe not her actions, but definitely a lot of what she was feeling. It is quirky and maybe unusual, but it also is a story of love, family, and redemption. Something about the family in the book connected with me and had me thinking about it long after I finished reading the book. . ⛪️⛪️⛪️⛪️⛪️⛪️⛪️⛪️⛪️⛪️⛪️ Without Merit @atriabooks - http://amzn.to/2E1ZtXq. ⛪️⛪️⛪️⛪️⛪️⛪️⛪️⛪️⛪️⛪️⛪️ #yareads #youngadultbooks #yacontemporary #withoutmerit #colleenhoover #atriabooks (at Tyler, Texas)
