The ova/fanbook is coming out this week and I'm so excited! Even though RPG BBB has nothing to do with the OVA I wanted to draw knight Leo after figuring out what that picture meant in 1:29 of the ending www.youtube.com/watch?v=j3SlUm…. I had the image of a children's book when making this so I tried to keep this image simpler. The outfits are inspired mostly from what I've seen on pixiv than in the manga especially since Michella didn't get a canon outfit. I really like that Leo is an unconventional animal like a turtle instead of something ferocious like a fox (Naruto) or Dragon (Kenshin). But I really like the explanation the series provides by acknowledging that even though Leo is physically weak and occasionally hides in his shell he never takes a step back (like a turtle apparently). I find his character refreshing because I've never considered myself physically strong like how most protagonists are presented and I feel the turtle description is relatable. Even though I largely consider the series a comedy the series has really feely moments
So my sister and I were talking about how Hoshino seems to like tattoo’s... She has one herself, Kanda has one on his chest, Bak has markings, Link also has markings and Allen’s arm/scar are vaguely tattoo-ish. So we were thinking Lavi probably has information tattooed on his back being part of the bookman clan. :D

I have to admit I'm not really a fan of BHA... I mostly read it because my sis likes it. There are a few characters that I enjoy though like All Might, Ida, and ofc Bakugou! I find his foulness consistently amusing.

I just wanted to draw nature again (particularly a big tree) and LoZ is a good excuse .__. For this piece I was wondering what the results would be if I colored purely through texture as opposed to paining via layer modes... I like the color results... but I think I can see the compression artifacts D:
