Tell me why I just saw a Washington x Lafayette shipper get their ass beat in TikTok comments and being called an incest shipper for daring to ship TWO GROWN ASS MEN WHO AREN’T RELATED. You people see something that doesn’t fit your precious little headcanons and get so enraged that you need to take it out on people who are doing literally nothing wrong. I’ve been in this fandom since 2016. Washington x Lafayette has been one of the biggest ships since conception. Not as big as lams and hamliza but still high on the rankings. Jamilton is THE enemies to lovers ship in this fandom alongside hamburr, but I guess that’s not allowed anymore because some of you don’t know how to not yuck someone else’s yum and stay in your fucking lane. “I see xyz characters as related” okay and that’s great good for you but if you take YOUR headcanons and push them onto everyone else then you’re just an asshole. If you want to see characters as found family or whatever you’re allowed to but DO NOT come into MY HOUSE and tell me I have to follow YOUR rules. That’s not how this works babe. How would you like it if I said I see YOUR favorite ship as related and bully you because you don’t follow MY headcanon?

Okay I am clearing this up once and for all: I have heard a revamp in the 'Maria and Eliza were cousins' thing and I THOUGHT we had stopped but apparently no so here it is. Yes, I did my research. I spent half an hour obsessively hunting every article, paper and book citation list that looked as if it reflected either Eliza or Maria. Guess what? ONE source implied they were cousins. ONE. An uncited biographical narrative that has been widely criticised for being biased, dramatised and untrue. It also (when I read some of it) claimed Alexander and Eliza faked the entire Reynolds affair. With no basis. Respectfully, no one has ever been able to give me a decent source. If you don't ship marliza that's ok, great even, your damn business but yk... They were not cousins. Ladies, gentlemen and everyone else on the jury, I rest my case. *Bows*
