this is kinda scary doing this because im scared of sharing my opinions but like, i kinda side-eye editors that play or post hoyoverse media, is that bad?? because ive heard about some things they've done and they have also appropriated my culture multiple times and it just touches me the wrong way when i see a genshin/hsr fan or player or just something like that, mainly if its someone who hasn't had theyre culture appropriated by hoyoverse, if that makes sense?
its kinda like, why post the media if you dont support the creators actions and dont play their games? typically, when you post media about something others who havent seen the media will look into it and most likely play their games and maybe even spend money on it. i have respect for people that refuse to play or spend money on their games but still it just.. doesnt feel right to me.
i never want or try to judge someone for what their interest are unless its like something illegal or incest or anything such as that, so i feel bad saying this because i even have a few friends on my own that play hoyoverse games and dont care about what they have done, which im properly going to talk to them or just drop them because it makes me uncomfortable.
