Treat yourself to the timeless goodness of a cheeseburger. It's a burger to remember because it has a juicy beef patty, melted cheese, and all the usual toppings.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices of American cheese. 1/4 cup diced onions. 1/4 cup lettuce leaves. 4 pickle slices. Ketchup and mustard to taste. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Warm the grill up to a medium-high level. Making burger patties from the ground beef is easy. Just divide it into 4 equal parts. Add pepper and salt. Put the burger patties on the grill and cook them for 3 to 4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or longer if you like them more done. Cover the grill and add a slice of cheese to each patty in the last minute of cooking. This will melt the cheese. On the grill, toast the buns for about one minute, until they get a little brown. Place lettuce on the bottom bun of each burger, then top with the cooked patty, melted cheese, diced onions, pickle slices, ketchup, and mustard. The classic cheeseburger is now ready to be served! Just put the other half of the bun on top.
