thanks for the suggestions! Wolf's rain eh? what exactly is it all about?

fuck me i just typed a great summary up and then my browser crashed and i lost it all cries

its hard to explain anime plots without sounding stupid but i'll try my best. it takes place in a dystopia-like world where cold has taken over. wolves are legendary creatures, known for their elite senses and mystical nature. but, they were also feared beasts for these reasons and were thought to be extinct. however, unbeknownst to the people, the wolves have adapted to blend in among them and appear as humans to the untrained eye.

the main character, a white wolf named kiba is driven by this instinct to simply "find paradise." after meeting with three other wolves (not exactly friendly meetings) they set out to find it.

the series has perfect animation, art, music (by yoko kanno), voice acting (english and japanese) and, of course, story. the ending will make you BAWL. BAWL I SAY. the first few episodes are slow but it just keeps you so curious that you will keep watching. it's 30 episodes long. (apparently the last three are OVAs, but they really are necessary for the series to be complete are not usually counted as OVAs. unless you are a very technical fan who just likes to get in peoples faces over minute details.).

it sounds very pre-teeny (because wolves) but it's really great. give it a shot!
