Mold in my appartment!!! and the idea of posting just truly escaped me#but yeah ghouls and ghosts we have reached the end of my 4 page fancomic!#it was originally conceived as being for micro comic summer but well. let's just say moving countries got in the way lol#now that the whole thing is out I can rant about THEMES#this comic is kind of intended as my thesis for what makes toragoona so compelling to me#the call of the void the paradoxical draw one feels to the things they fear most#it's about the link between fear and fascination#how awesome and awful share the root of AWE#and it's about the literal fear of oceanic depths of course#toralei being a cat who perceives abyssal depths as the domain of eldritch horrors beyond her comprehension#and lagoona being Exactly the eldritch horror who feels at home within those environments#it's also about fear of EMOTIONAL depths#toralei is suddenly faced with the fact that she has feelings and they are much deeper than she's comfortable with#thus her wordlessly running away
