Mold in my appartment!!! and the idea of posting just truly escaped me #but yeah ghouls and ghosts we have reached the end of my 4 page fancomic!#it was originally conceived as being for micro comic summer but well. let's just say moving countries got in the way lol #now that the whole thing is out I can rant about THEMES #this comic is kind of intended as my thesis for what makes toragoona so compelling to me #the call of the void the paradoxical draw one feels to the things they fear most #it's about the link between fear and fascination #how awesome and awful share the root of AWE #and it's about the literal fear of oceanic depths of course #toralei being a cat who perceives abyssal depths as the domain of eldritch horrors beyond her comprehension #and lagoona being Exactly the eldritch horror who feels at home within those environments #it's also about fear of EMOTIONAL depths #toralei is suddenly faced with the fact that she has feelings and they are much deeper than she's comfortable with #thus her wordlessly running away

oookkk i’ve been thinking about this episode for awhile and WHAT it could possibly entail

because like, i feel like there are so many options on what this “anonymous monster” could be and i can’t tell which is the “most likely” to happen…

BUUUUT here are my top 2 answers to the anonymous monster

loser option: it’s meowlody and purrsephone and the episode ends like “wow i can’t believe my cousins were the ones supporting me 😣”

awesome option: LAGOONA

HERE IS MY REASONING ON WHY THIS WOULD BE AWESOOOME!!!!

1st, it makes sense for lagoona to be browsing poetry as she overall enjoys writing and scripting, and i think with her nature she enjoys reading it

2nd, we NEEEED a toragoona episode so bad. like i need SOME SORT OF CLARIFICATION on how they feel about each other… just in general i need some sort of development with their relationship shown PLEAASEEE

if it does end up being lagoona i will be VERY DELIGHTED and would probably move season 2 up with season 1 for me
