2. best episode or piece of extended material that you think is underrated?
best episode is Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, hands down, no question about it. as to the second part, i’d say Cascade (a.k.a. torchwood_cascade_CDRip.tor) is terribly underrated, it’s i’d say the most creative big finish audio i’ve heard yet and i enjoyed it immensely. i highly recommend it to everyone!
4. give me a character headcanon!
Ianto has known that he was bisexual since his teens, and the goth scene gave him the freedom to explore that a little bit, since the subculture happily embraces androgyny and queerness. it allowed him to experiment with his presentation and play around with gender performance and expectations, trying out some androgynous looks and simple makeup (lots of black eyeliner), and he made out with boys as often as he made out with girls back in the day. with things being less than ideal at home, the goth scene and his goth friends gave him a safe space to vent and experiment, and this is why, despite everything else being shit, he looks back on his teenage years fondly.
18. best platonic relationship?
Gwen&Ianto :’) i just. i love their friendship so much :’) they joke around and banter on the job and they gossip about their sex lives and they’re there for each other and they love each other so much, they’re best friends and i love them :’)
