Day 133, May 13th, 2015
“Don’t torment yourself with jealousy. It’s a silly illusion that someone’s life is better than yours when the truth is that each one of us is on a different path.”
Goal: Release any jealousy you have for someone else’s life and allow yourself to feel deep gratitude that you are living your own life.
Being jealous all the time isn’t healthy, especially if the person you are jealous of surrounds you in your everyday life - a coworker, a peer, a friend, or even a sibling. We were all born to do different things and to be different people. Not one of us are exactly the same, and that’s what makes all of us beautiful. With all of us being in different places in our lives, there’s always going to be people ahead of us, behind us, and even right next to us. Never compare yourself or your life to someone else, because you have never endured every step that they took to get where they are today.
