What To Do Without Him

At first I didn't want to face them because they were Christian. Then I didn't want to face them because they knew. Then I didn't want to face them because they looked down on me. Then I didn't want to face them because they thought I was a freak. Then I didn't want to face them because they didn't like me. Now I can't face them at all. And will refuse to.

Half of me is crumbling apart, being ripped to shreds by a dull knife. Half of me is growing up, building supports to help me stand strong. My two sides aren't talking, they don't like to interfere in each other's business. I don't blame them, they can't help feeling what they feel. I just wish I wasn't so torn.
