Retro Game Room Version 2 I needed to patch the walls and paint, so I thought I might as well change it all up.
23 different consoles and handhelds, about 450 old games. Framemeister xrgb-mini upscaler so it doesnāt look bad on a new tv, handmade custom MAME cabinet, and a fuzzy chair and fuzzy carpet :)
A lot of work, and a lifetime of collecting!
And no girlfriend
In an incredible plot twist, Iām actually someoneās wife.

The CafĆ© (or Cabaret) de LāEnferĀ was a Hell themed, 19th century CafĆ© in Paris.
Supposedly upon approaching the doors, which were double and wooden with a gaping devils mouth baring its fangs looming from above, a doorsman clad in a Satan costume would bellow: āEnter and be damned!ā
Once inside patrons would sit at small black tables, under a low, arched ceiling with plaster cast demons reaching down at them, their faces screaming and snarling.
The wait staff and bar tenders would be dressed in apt attire and would serve drinks with dangerous and devilish names.
In McDonough, New York thereās a small cemetery where 8 year old Merritt Beardsley was buried in 1865. The boyās request to his father was that he wanted a window in his grave because he was scared of the dark. So while building the young boyās grave his father left a small opening with a pane of glass for the morning sun to shine into. Today few people visit the grave, but those that do leave toys for Merritt to play with. The full folklore story can be found here. Growing up in that area I was also told of the story of a man in the 1970s breaking the glass, stealing Merrittās skull, painting it orange, and placing it on the front of the bike. He died shortly after in an accident, afterwards the skull was placed back in the grave and the glass replaced.Ā @sixpenceee
