I wanted to socially connect with more Metalheads

Hey guys, I am a huge fan of Metal music, especially Death Metal and Folk Metal. Before, when I was about 13, I used to listen to the rap genre until a good friend of mine first introduced me to Metallica and I was completely astonished with how good this type of music really appealed to me. When I first became new to the whole Metal scene at the age of 15, I researched for some good metal bands to listen to, until I came across " Trivium " where they have immensely influenced me into the Metal culture. I started to love Metal since then, because it changed the way in how I view the world and the way howI live my life. It helps copes with my emotions when I feel down and in the state of depression. I see it in a way as a family thing, a kind of a brotherhood.

With this post, I wanted to socially connect with more people who share the same common interest as I do, because the majority of people here where I live all listens to that mainstream Rap/Hip Hop and Pop music garbage. Sadly, I get treated differently and don't really fit in with the peers at my youth church, except for one. He likes Metal xD

Often at times, I've been teased and stereotyped that I am a Satan Worshiper due to the type of music I listen to when I am not even Satanic at all nor have any connection with Satanic suicidal thoughts. I'm a normal guy just like everyone else who loves METAL. I live in Scarborough, ON, so if anyone is interested in talking to me, I'm always here :)
