Due to [The Continuing Shitfire], I'm shifting an ongoing Twitter thread to its own dedicated sideblog.
It is my goal in life to give every Pokémon the best possible nickname. Some strive for collection, others for battle, but me? Puns all the way, baby.
Expect a lot of terrible jokes, references to things I like, and a lot of badly-derailed trains of thought! My all-time favorite Pokémon (of which there are many) will typically get nicknames that relate to food and candy, comics, or music. The cream of the crop get ridiculous descriptive nicknames that end in "hed" — "Leafyhed" for Chikorita, for example.
The first handful of posts will be brought over verbatim from Twitter — the tweet thread usually grouped entire lines together, but individual mons will occasionally get their own, especially since I don't have a character limit here. It's worth pointing out that every single one of these is a nickname I've used in-game, and I've been playing for a *long* time — there's gonna be some double dipping.
Anyway, that's enough from me! I'll be transferring existing posts over, before starting on new ones — if there's any Pokémon you wanna see, or complaints about nicknames I've already posted, feel free to shoot me a message. There's not gonna be any real order here, so otherwise I'll just get to them as I get to them.
