Hi, I have these three couples I'd like possible kittens for I hope you can help me. First are a ruddy Abyssinian tom and a longhaired bobtailed tortie molly with 70% white, a shorthair black tom with 40% white and a longhair chocolate point molly with a snowshoe pattern and finally a ginger classic tabby molly and a solid grey tom, both over 40% white and shorthaired. Thank you very much and sorry if my English is a bit bad :)
First of all, your English is great. If you hadn’t said anything, I would’ve assumed you were native.
Male kits can be red/cream-based or black-based, female kits can be black-based or tortoiseshells. If the tom carries solid, each non-red kit has a 50/50 chance of being solid vs. tabby. Otherwise, every kit will be a tabby. If the tom carries a non-ticked gene, each tabby kit will have a 50/50 chance of being a ticked tabby vs. a mackerel tabby. Otherwise, every tabby kit will be a ticked tabby. Every kit will have between 0-60% white. Unless the tom carries bobtail, each kit will have a normal-length tail. If the tom does carry bobtail, each kit will have a 50/50 chance of being bobtail.
Black tom x chocolate point molly
If the tom carries longhair, each kit will have a 50/50 chance of being longhair vs. shorthair. If he doesn’t, every kit will be shorthair. If the tom carries chocolate, each kit will have a 50/50 chance of being chocolate vs. black. Otherwise, every kit will be black. About half the kits will have 0-60% white, about a quarter will have 40-100% white, and about a quarter will have no white. Unless the tom carries pointing (unlikely), none of the kits will be point. If the tom does carry pointing, kits will have a 50/50 chance of being point.
Grey tom x ginger classic tabby molly
All kits will be shorthair. All male kits will be red/cream-based and all female kits will be tortoiseshells. If the molly carries dilute, each kit will have a 50% chance of being dilute (cream instead of ginger, blue-cream tortie instead of tortoiseshell). If the molly carries solid, each non-red kit will have a 50/50 chance of being solid vs. classic tabby (remember, red is always tabby, so ginger or cream toms and the ginger or cream patches on torties will be classic tabby for all the kits). Otherwise, every kit will be a classic tabby. About half the kits will have 0-60% white spotting. About a quarter of the kits will have 40-100% white spotting. About a quarter of the kits will have no white spotting.
