Ok ok, it has to be done now, favorite supervillain?
THIS GONNA BE LONG. So I am going to cheat a little and list my favorite villains, even if not all of them are I guess “super” in the sense of the word. Going for the serious comic villain sense of the word, I am gonna get this out of the way and be THAT person that really likes the Joker. Specifically Hamill’s joker from the animated series. It’s not to be generic, but mostly because I love how unpredictable he can be, and how you don’t know if he will kill you for accidentally touching his car or if he will just shrug it off and tell you to have a nice day. He is the absolute worst and I love that. I also love the concept of the villain/hero duality and how none can exist without the other. It’s so fun to me. HOWEVER, my general type of favorite villain is actually what I have termed the smooth/sly villain. The one that will be absolutely polite if he captures you and even offer you a non-poisoned dinner to eat. The one that gets you to do what he wants by being honest and playing some good old psychology mind games to find your weaknesses and use them to his advantage. See also: Toffee from Star vs the Forces of Evil (he wears a SUIT I LOVE HIM), Dr. Fenhoff from Agent Carter (SO SMOOTH), Lucifer from Supernatural (he will literally not lie to you), and, although not really a super villain, Ben Linus from LOST (who blatantly tells Jack “I want you to want to save my life,” and IT WORKS).

This is JLA 44:
The next I own is JLA 46. I can’t find Tortolini online. I’ll never know what happened. It still haunts me. (I also really love the Riddler. Absurd villains are fun villains.)

Does Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz count? Probably not. If we're doing serious supervillains, I like villains who are just...unabashedly selfish. Who don't necessarily have a grand world-ending scheme (although they CAN), but whose actions stem from a deep sense of entitlement. See: Ego (Guardians of the Galaxy 2), Syndrome (The Incredibles).

My favorite super villain is probably Skeletor. Should he count? Yes.
