Sheikh Mirza al-Mahroos, member of the #Bahrain13, a religious scholar and VP of Al-Zahraa Society of Orphans, is serving 15 years in prison and was at one point beaten in detention every day for two months. Since his arrest, his baby daughter has been denied a passport in reprisal for her father's human rights work. Al-Mahroos was also reportedly one of the victims of the #tortureprince Sheikh Nasser, who allegedly abused prisoners personally. #Bahrain
