"Powerful Women For 2019” Calendar // torynova

I’m a fan of a great calendar and always have one up in my classroom. This is the latest calendar. My wife suggested I find a calendar “with women on it” which would add a space dedicated to the awesomeness of women. I didn’t know what I wanted for 2018; last year was Muhammad Ali. I found @torynova on Etsy after I struggled to find a calendar with women on it that was gonna work for my classroom. This calendar is composed of powerful women who #jaaamaccordingly (it’s a lifestyle), most of whom I’ve never heard of. The presence of Miriam Makeba is what caught my attention but the illustrations and brief descriptions are brilliant. Lyudmila Pavlichenko is our featured woman for January.
