This is the best commission experience I’ve ever had in my life. Pleasant to work with, unbelievably speedy, AND LOOK HOW LOVELY THIS IS! I haven’t stopped grinning all day every time I see them. The mermaid did nothing as it stood before him in all its beautiful glory, bright and defiant. Its pale skin glowed ethereally despite the fog that covered them, with a frame slender and layered with lean muscles. Its features were brilliant with tempting pink lips and a smooth jaw accompanied by soft cheeks. Eyes big and brown which brought to mind the colour of polished mahogany and long, thick eyelashes that were the colour of charcoal. Its hair was dark like the ocean at midnight with the tips of it brushing against prominent collarbones.

It was terrifyingly beautiful and the captain couldn’t stop himself from gazing up with wide eyes of frightened wonder.

This commissioned piece was drawn by the fabulous @tosquinha whose artwork still astounds me. It’s so perfect and the details are so wonderful that it makes my heart sing whenever I look at it. I do not know art terminology so forgive me as all I can say is W O W.

This is from a scene in my fic whispers of sea which is about mermaid!Yuuri who is on a mission and encounters the Pirate Captain Viktor. It’s only two chapters deep but I’m really excited for it and @crossroadswrite has really been helping me along so I’m so very grateful!
