Daily Update

I am rewriting the prologue to show a better light into Yang's childhoood, and it got dark real quick. I think it's kinda obvious from the current version of the prologue that Yang had quite a neglectful childhood, and in many occassions, would experience physical abuse.

I was initially reluctant to write the prologue this way because it is intense for the start of a book or story, but for Yang, it is a realistic portrayal of what they experienced.

I will give an option to skip that scene, so if you are triggered by topics like child abuse, it can be skipped.

Before I wrote this IF, Tears of Tianchao was actually a novel that I planned, so writing these scenes remind of the orignal character that I created for Yang.

This prologue was quite an emotional rollercoaster for me, especially considering their relationships within the family that they are no longer a part of -- but it's not like Yang ever felt like they were part of the family.

Update - Might be Important to Readers

Hello, everyone! Before the release of PART 2 at 23:00 UTC +2, I want to clarify some things, lest something goes down.

Although I try to be as liberating as possible with appearances, there are going to be some people commenting about your appearance that is a like foreigners, basically an appearance you wouldn't quite expect from someone who is from a Tianchaoan or Zhongguon lineage. I just want to clarify that it will have nothing to do with prejudice and that it is something that is commonly noted, especially because foreigners are not common at all in a nation that is in a civil war.

I hope that everyone enjoys it regardless. ^^

Random #1

Even though Ji Qiangxin is not really accessible to romance until Book 2, he is a massive tsundere. He will really pretend like he didn't hear anything Yang [MC] says. He is a lot different from how he presents himself, if I should say. XD

For now, in Book 1, good luck to readers as they try to survive his suspicions lol. He is worth it, I promise.

Daily Update #2

I just finished one of the main locations of Chapter 1, which is Liang Teahouse. The interactions in it are one of my favorites. Plus, if you do a specific choice sequence, there is a little secret interaction you can encounter~ (ps, it has mr green snake :) And honestly, he is such a prick in the best way possible Lol)

Update: chapter 1 progress

I am busy writing chapter 1 now and I decided to add more scenes as flavor text and other treats, but dang. I'm not even 20% finished after all the revision plans I made lol.

But worry not! I will be officially ready with chapter by next week.

(PS Thank you for all the love that the demo received. It makes my heart bloom in happiness and fuzzy joy. So much work was put into the planning and development of the game, and I am so excited to share chapter 1 with everyone, too.)
