An A-class wooden fishing vessel being repaired at a slipway in Pulau Duyong. the paint on the hull is scraped off and the damaged wooden planks are replaced. Sekochi Boat (Perahu Sekoci). One of the remaining traditional boats used by coastal fishermen in the waters of Terengganu. This specimen here is used as a decoration of a boat building company boss in his bungalow. Back in the old days, this boat is commonly used for coastal fishing activities such as hook & line, squid jigging & gill netting.
