Got a few minutes in the shop today, so I tuned up the spoke shave to clean up the live edges of these soon to be spalted maple charcuterie boards. My spoke shave is a cheap Stanley and it’s really finicky to adjust, but once it’s dialed in, it’s the perfect tool for a job like this. I had previously de-barked these slabs with a draw knife.
