Take me with you! I'm really enjoying #totemsclass with #getmessyartjournal and I'm loving this taste of the wild and wonderful world of art journaling. Whenever I start exploring something new, I get anxious that I'm abandoning the things I've been caring about and working on — in this case, comics! Painting the cover of my notebook for the upcoming 'Initiation' year-long training at @earthheartuk . I drew on many of the things I've been learning in the fabulous #totemsclass with @dansmoncrane and was inspired to add the connected writing round the edges after today's wonderful tutorial with @stitchandletter ! I decided to protect the cover with varnish and that's when several elements dissolved before my eyes, including most of the title (written in white sigmo pen).
