☕
My muse is feeling touch-starved.
☕ - reassuring touch, such as holding their hand, gripping their shoulder, guiding them by the arm or by a hand on the small of their back, etc
Ah...
"Is Abarai-kun attempting to do something stupid in the training room again?"
❤ - gentle or loving touch (romantic or platonic!), such as face caressing, holding your muse, rubbing their back, petting their hair, hugging them tightly, etc
My muse is feeling touch-starved.
One shouldn't bother with touching a corpse such as himself...
☕ Little pat on the shoulder cause Soi's not all that great when it comes to reassurance, or touching people.
My muse is feeling touch-starved.
So much can be said without ever saying a word – Rangiku felt it in that hand upon her shoulder. There for just a moment, fleeting yet firm, quick yet gentle, comforting yet brief. It was acknowledgement without the pity, understanding without the questions – it was enough, yet more than she could have ever asked for. There were others who had felt the way she currently felt, those who had squared their shoulders, held their heads high and faced the day without compliant. They kept moving forward, even when they dared to look back.
She should probably look to the example set forth by SoiFon-taichou, steel her resolve, stand tall and press on – the captain had faced her own set of challenges, overcome the loss of a mentor, had been left wanting answers – she had stood where Rangiku currently stood. She had never let it break her.
A slow exhale escaped her as her gaze dropped to the ground in front of her, “—Thank you,” the expression of gratitude was barely above that of a whisper, but she had a feeling the captain had heard.
❤ hugging from behind (katsu-at-the-bottom)
My muse is feeling touch-starved.
“—Katsu…”
His arms had wrapped around her from behind without warning, drawing her back against his chest. He was clutching her – she felt it in his hold on her, desperate, wanting, needing. The way he had buried his face in the crook of her neck. She heard him inhale sharply, taking in her fragrance. He was making sure she was really there – at long last.
She had told him it would be a few days. She had business to handle out of town – out of this realm – but she hadn’t quite gotten around to explaining that to him, just yet. But it had taken longer than expected and it was getting harder and harder to escape for days at a time to be with him.
She had lingered outside the apartment for a moment, hand outstretched grasping the knob. She had half expected to find the apartment dark, Katsu gone – no longer able to burden himself with her disappearing act. My, how the roles had been reversed. But as she had pushed open the door, she had heard rustling in the kitchen, music playing – his presence still filled the apartment. He was still there.
She hadn’t heard him approach, but just as she was kicking off her shoes, she felt his arms encircle her waist. He said nothing – words weren’t needed. He just held her, welcoming her back to their home, this life. What she had so desperately missed.
She relaxed into his embrace, hands and arms gently folding over his that wrapped around her waist. They shifted lightly, her head lulling back to rest against his shoulder, eyelids fluttered close as she just held onto him and this moment for a second longer.
“I guess…it’s safe to say, you missed me.”
☕ gentle pats on the back for doing a good job
My muse is feeling touch-starved.
Izuru startles some at the first light pats to his back, as it isn’t something he’s entirely used to. Praise of any sort, really, are a bit of a foreign concept to him. Especially after Captain Ichi-... No, he mustn’t think about him.
He glances at his current captain a bit uncertainly, as he’s wondering what exactly the reasoning behind it might be. After all, he hasn’t done anything particularly special that he can recall. Nor has he done an exceptional job at anything in particular; he’s just done an average job, at best. So it goes without saying that he’s rather confused.
He won’t lie, though, in saying that the pats are somewhat reassuring and perhaps even comforting in some small way. But then, he’d never admit that either. After all, it’s only been a short few months since captain Otoribashi had arrived and resumed control over the Third - Izuru has heard of how he had been a captain in the past.... He still has to keep his guard up, to be careful. It could all be a ruse, after all. It certainly had been the last time he had a Captain that he thought he could trust.
Ah, and just like that, his thoughts had circled back to Captain Ichimaru. Just as they always do, it seems. There are days where he curses this, and wishes that he could just be rid of the man once and for all. But at the same time, and most days, he clings to the memories and the thoughts...
He draws himself out of the memories, perhaps with a faint shiver though he hopes that captain Otoribashi doesn’t notice, and instead looks at him again.
“Is there something that you need, sir?”
¿ - Feels forehead "you feeling okay?"
My muse is feeling touch-starved.
Tazz had spaced out without realizing it, only snapping back to the present when she felt a hand on her forehead. She blinked at Eva before giving a nod, slightly enjoying the gentle touch, “Y-Yeah, I’m fine. Just thinking…”
