#ReadingRightNow Ivanhoe by Sir Walter Scott - I have a master in English, but this is not an easy read for me! I love the subject and picked it up because Robin Hood plays a role in it (I love that character in general). But QUESTION, what is up with the notes in this copy?? In the text they use asterisks, but the endnotes are numbered? A shame, because the text would be easier to read if I could use the notes since Scott uses a lot of expressions and references that are foreign to me. Anyway, I can still follow the story. I am particularly interested in the backstory of Urfried/Ulrica. #sirwalterscott #Ivanhoe #robinhood #toughread #myread
