Tough times teach us, they give us clues to future challenges and possible means of overcoming them, only when we allow the mind to engage in critical thinking. Some years back when I had to learn to use firewoods in frying pastry for people, my mind become open and creative and critical, because I had a goal in mind while I was frying and the goal was to make sure that the color of the pastry was one and beautiful but the tool(firewoods instead of gas) I had with me wasn't good enough but I still had to deliver the goal I had in mind for pastry. The stressful part about frying is using firewoods because to get all-around beautiful color for the pastry, you need some considerable amount of heat and to get that heat you need to be able to easily control the wood-burning because if the heat reduces too much the pastry takes in a lot of oil.
