i last saw mcr in chicago at riot fest in 2022 and oh my god this crowd tonight was 1000% better. at riot fest people were passing out left and right, they were fighting, we were packed in like sardines (couldn’t even lift my arms), it was almost impossible to get water, and gerard had to ask people to take a step back after every single song because it was clear there was going to be a crowd crush if we didn’t! covid seriously killed crowd etiquette and mcr’s set at riot fest was literally the worst crowd experience i’ve had in my entire life. this show was so healing to me and i had a much better experience! live laugh love my chemical romance
