That Girl, 1966 -1971
Tousle the Tyrouge!
A bit of a monster of a piece that I wanted to do, partly for my love Terri, and partly bc I wanted to catalog all of my sonas, and this isnt even all of them, but the ones that aren't just one shots or ones that fell to the wayward! Anyway, enjoy this revolving door of sonas and creatures of all shapes and sizes~
2 weeks ago i suddenly got hella sick, like, out of nowhere fever and it inspired me to do some soft moomin-sona content.
Life under the bushes
In the shadowed vale where silence reigns, A tousle of thoughts, tangled and strained, Lies beneath the weight of a mournful sky, Where echoes of despair softly sigh.
The tendrils of memory, twisted and frayed, In the labyrinth of the mind, forlornly laid, Each strand a whisper of what once was, A tapestry of sorrow, without pause.
Oh, tousle of life, in disarray, A chaotic dance in the dimmest gray, Where hope is but a fleeting guest, And dreams are laid to eternal rest.
The heart, a vessel of shattered grace, In the relentless grip of time’s embrace, Beats a dirge for moments lost, In the cruel calculus of fate’s cost.
Yet in this tangled skein of woe, A cynical truth begins to show, That life, in its merciless jest, Leaves none untouched, none truly blessed.
So let us mourn, in this academic guise, The tousle of existence, beneath indifferent skies, For in the end, all must concede, To the tangled fate that none can plead.
In the beginning, there was wonder.
Science and religion are not enemies. They are two sides of the same coin. Science asks how. Religion asks why. Together, they explore the universe.
The stars shine above us. Science explains their light. It tells us about gases and fusion. But why do they fill us with awe? That is where religion steps in. It speaks of purpose and meaning.
Consider the human heart. Science knows its beats and rhythms. It understands the flow of blood. Yet, it cannot measure love. Religion whispers of the soul. It speaks of connections unseen.
There are questions science cannot answer. What happens after we die? Why do we dream? Religion offers comfort and stories. It gives us a place to rest our fears.
But beware the trap of ignorance. Religion should not stop us from asking. It should not close our minds. The world is vast and full of mysteries.
Science is a journey. It seeks truth in the physical. Religion is a companion. It walks with us in the unknown.
Together, they guide us. They teach us to marvel. They remind us to question.
In the end, we are seekers. We stand on the edge of the infinite. With science in one hand and faith in the other, we reach for understanding.
And so, the wonder continues.
