Photos from January 24’s 3-alarm residential fire on Stafford Street in Toronto. Three houses were involved, addresses 39-43 Stafford Street.
Toronto Fire Services crews battled stubborn fire conditions that continued to burn for over 90 minutes. Despite the extensive fire, crews maintained an offensive interior attack the entire time.
This was supplemented by roof operations, targeting fire that had extended into the attic and eaves by cutting sections of roof and dousing with water.
Tower 1 was dispatched as a part of the third alarm response, providing a critical high vantage point from which the entire fire scene could be observed at once, allowing Command to make informed tactical decisions.
