Lean, Mean Towing Machine
So its been a slow couple of weeks since Hay Festival, trying to get back on top of things. Last Saturday I was selling ice cream at St. Werburghs summer fair. It was lovely, the sun was shining and the people were amazing, there was a proper buzz and everyone was having a great time. The only downer was that I was all by myself so never got to leave the van and join in. But it was still pretty great as a spectator sport!
Since then I have been working extra hard on an intensive towing course, this involved two loooooong days of driving and a third test day. I have always loved driving but this almost put me off! Anyway its over now and the good news is that I passed!! I am a fully licensed legal tower- it doesn't get much cooler than that.
So enough of the past. What's going on this weekend? Well Justin is currently at Longleat fishing show with Jane and the trailer. This is a new one for us so we're not sure what to expect, are fishing fans also ice cream lovers? I'll give an answer to that one on the next update. As for me, I will be heading to Leamington Peace Festival with Verity and Ellie. Its a lovely little festival with loads of work shops AND its free. So if you're in that part of the world why not come on down and say hello. The weather's not looking fantastic but I'm feeling optimistic.
