The town is quiet. Everyone is busy doing their jobs and running their errands, but the pace seems slow. There's barely anyone outside, merely the townspeople walking to and from their car, entering the nearest building. You're sitting in the corner, enjoying the calm vibes of the café. Barely any people around you, only the few locals that you're more than familiar with by now. No one is bothering you, since you're fully engaged in the book in front of you. They know better than to engage with you in this situation. Your cup of coffee is turning cold, so the owner quietly takes away your cup to refill it with a fresh hot one. In the meantime, dark clouds start to cover the quiet town.

My birthday is up in two days and i honestly don't even want gifts or anything anymore i just want to go on a drive at midnight and feel the cold breeze graze my face while Love by lana del Rey plays in the background then stop the car at the middle of a highway and stare at the twinkling of city lights, drink wine and write poetry about all the places I could have been and all that I could have done but to be in that moment underneath the stars yet so high like an invisible paradise then eventually drown into the night
