I would also recommend html since its not that hard and might be less overwelming

html is not a programming language, it’s a markup language. It’s not doing any programming work, it’s just a different representation of data on the site. eg. if you write “2+2″ in html it will show “2+2″, while in python “2+2″ will show “4″ :)

but yeah, html is easy but it won’t give you any programming practice and can do more harm than good if one is planning to go into programming later.
