I can’t take how upset BBRae shippers tend to get whenever another couple is made canon. Their ship wasn’t ever meant to get together, yet despite that not only has it become the most popular ship but thanks to its popularity it’s become canon in a run of the comics, multiple shows, and most recently the Gabriel Pioco books. The fandom should be so happy about this, yet all they can do is complain when another ship even gets a popular vid! I think that if you’re going to be this ungrateful about everything your ship got, you shouldn’t have anymore content coming out. Let’s stop sucking up to them every turn and begin choosing different pairings to be canon that fit the plot better. See how they like having an actual lack of new canon content. It should be interesting.

I can’t take it when BBRae shippers attempt to act as if because not everyone in the fandom is toxic means others can’t view the fandom as a whole negatively. Most of the time when people say “the BBRae fandom” they’re only talking about the bad ones, and just because you, yourself aren’t toxic doesn’t mean that the entire fandom is suddenly wasn’t responsible for all the harassment and hate comments it’s left. Toxic!shippers are going to make people view a ship as a whole negatively, that’s just how the world works, and as a shipper in the fandom you should be mature enough to deal with that. I love Robrae but I’m able to admit that a good amount of the shippers can be horrible, and when you like a ship with as many toxic fans as BBRae your denial is just sad and honestly only makes me hate the ship more.
