I don’t understand why some people will get so riled up about other people making up their own Robstar kids instead of Mar’i/Jacob. They probably just didn’t know they existed! And as annoying as OC’s can usually get, I think Next-Gen is the exception since they, again, probably just wanted to give their ship a future family. Take a chill-pill, dude!

The implications in the issue “The Fearsome Five” that Robin was somehow wrong to distrust Jinx after she attempted to kill him and his team multiple times annoy me. Nobody should have to forgive someone for something like that just because they’re sorry now. That’s not how redemption works. He wasn’t required to trust her at the end either, but they still acted like it was an arc of his in some sick sort. The fact that the fandom seems to think the same way about it only adds salt to the wound.

I can’t take it when BBRae shippers attempt to act as if because not everyone in the fandom is toxic means others can’t view the fandom as a whole negatively. Most of the time when people say “the BBRae fandom” they’re only talking about the bad ones, and just because you, yourself aren’t toxic doesn’t mean that the entire fandom is suddenly wasn’t responsible for all the harassment and hate comments it’s left. Toxic!shippers are going to make people view a ship as a whole negatively, that’s just how the world works, and as a shipper in the fandom you should be mature enough to deal with that. I love Robrae but I’m able to admit that a good amount of the shippers can be horrible, and when you like a ship with as many toxic fans as BBRae your denial is just sad and honestly only makes me hate the ship more.

Sometimes I wish I could be normal about Rogue.

Like, I feel like I'm about average for a Star Trek fan; I watch the shows, I know a good amount of trivia, I've got my favorite characters, but for the most part it's relatively low-key. I say this as I'm wearing a hoodie patterned after the blue TNG uniform top and a shirt that says "UNITY" spelled out with Star Trek iconography. Still, not too uncommon for a Trekkie.

But when it comes to Rogue? To borrow a bit from "Parks and Recreation", I love Rogue. Now, I'm afraid what you just heard was "Rogue is my favorite character." What I said was "I love Rogue." I've loved her since I was a teenage dirtbag nerd in the early 90's. Despite being married to a wonderful woman for 18 years, I still love Rogue and if (insert several improbable if not impossible events that would need to occur, including but not limited to legalized polygamy), I would ask Rogue to be my second wife.

But sometimes that causes friction in some of the Internet communities I'm a part of. I've had people on two different Discord servers tell me to STFU about Rogue. I've been afraid to post too much about her here on Tumblr for fear of provoking the Romy or Rogueneto shippers. I've started several posts like this only to shove them into a document rather than sharing them with the Internet at large.

I'm going to be 50 years old next year. I've often said that you can be immature as long as you want, as long as you're not irresponsible about it. But with this it feels like "Your Rogue obsession was cute when you were a teen and in your early 20's, but it's getting more and more pathetic each year."

Seriously,what's wrong with the Owari no Seraph fandom?

It's turning disrespectful in many ways, the ball of haters have been rising a lot due to the latest chapters of the manga but, honestly, do you have to send hate messages, use tags to display your hate for certain characters?

The fandom isn't a healthy one,it's turning into an obsessive one.

I've seen fans loving characters and pointing why they love them in other fandoms but this one seems special.

All the people that use Tumblr and those who check your posts on here, they come here for a reason...I was one of those who decided to come here because I felt inspired by a certain user but each time I tried to check certain tags, all I have found is hate for Shinoa's character, same for Mahiru and Guren.

I'd get it if the light novels never existed but, they exist, they gave the reasons as to why everything happened in the Owari no Seraph universe.

Stop using tags that won't display appreciation for a certain character.
