I think a lot of people who are bashing on the Super manga need to realize that it's a once-a-month publication. If they gave all of the characters their fights and moments, it'd take way too long to finish. Personally, I think of it as a "recap with a few new things in it".
A recap with a “few things” in it is fine so long ‘things’ don’t get retconned and altered to such a degree that it’s no longer really an adaptation but more so Toyatoro’s fancomic. I’m pretty sure people wouldn’t have minded if it took a little longer to finish if that meant that it was done right and more faithful to the anime and its characters instead of certain, always the same, characters getting sidelined and dismissed as well as the ToP roster getting messed up royally.

prolly not the kind of question you were expecting but i am so upset that in the dbs manga not only does 18s fight get reduced to a couple of pages and was tossed off the ring pretty quickly, but to make matters worse, SHE DIDNT EVEN GET TO FIGHT ALONGSIDE 17 AT ALL!! NOT ONCE NOT ONE TIME GAWD
LOL I never know what kind of asks people come up with tbh!
But to get to the point, yeah I know. Thing is tho, I don’t read the Super manga myself because of stuff like this being pulled all the time. People usually inbox me or tag me and that’s how I get to know when sh*t hits the fan once again.
That aside, the whole Tourney in the manga is messed up anyway so I’m not surprised at all the bullhawkey Toyatoro is pulling once more. I’ll gladly rewatch the awesome Eppies of the anime tourney instead because they are so amazing and Toyatoro is probably just bitter cuz he didn’t come up with those scenes in the first place :P.
So instead of being bitter about it, I just happily tag along and watch the anime instead. You should do too. The super manga is a load of BS anyway for the most part.
