Tae was jogging through the woods. It was important to keep his body in shape for his master and the beach had gotten a big boring lately. Plus the woods were pretty safe with pretty much all of the big wildlife being not really wildlife. Still, he blinked and scrambled back quickly when he almost ran into a big bear near some water he’d been heading for to get a quick drink.
“Oh....um, Sorry Mister Bear. Sorry!”
Wilder jumped back when the person came around the bend- okay, so not a rabbit. He lowered his head, trying to seem less scary to assure the young man he wasn’t in danger. “Hey it’s okay, sorry to startle you,” he projected to the other. “Just getting a feel for my property, I didn’t think there’d be anyone wandering around here, didn’t mean to give you a startle.”
