Their dainty steps were HARDLY a distraction, nor was the sure sound of crunching snow beneath their heels. It was the SMELL that followed soon after, the weight of their presence as they neared the looming monster. It was good to entertain the company of those lonely--those whom might have lost their way in the woods surrounding the long forgotten ruins.
This, however, he doubted to be the case in this particular instance.
* “I always thought these paths to be troublesome,” He mused quietly, ghosting his long finger-bones along the wayward branches of a nearby tree.
