Teacher Performance Assessment 1
I’m on the third case study out of four for this assessment and I hit a large fountain of inspiration! I’m really hopeful that I can have this all written out and ready to be edited and revised by the end of this coming week!

TPA 1 is due tonight by midnight. I will be crying and writing all day. But mostly crying.
I PASSED TPA 1!
In order to become a credentialed teacher in California, you have to pass two state tests: TPA (Teacher Performance Assessment) and TPE (Teacher Performance Expectations). TPAs are 4 different assessments, each with multiple subsets in them.
The TPAs are difficult and redundant. The first TPA has four subsets: create a lesson plan for a specified class/content; edit and assess a teacher's rubric/lesson plan; given an English Learner student, review a lesson plan and differentiate it to fit the needs of the English Learner; and given a student with Special Needs, review a lesson plan and differentiate it to the needs of that student. This totals about 21 pages when finished.
I got my score back for TPA 1 this morning! I PASSED!! I'm so relieved.
Getting my credential while also planning my friends wedding and teaching school and going on dates is absolutely crazytown. I'm really happy!
