Kenny: a talkative pirate who joined Daimhín's crew and ran into Silent Jack at a tavern.

This is the tale of how Jack became known as Silent Jack and met Kenny leading up to him becoming the pirate we know and love…it also gives a peek into how they view their pirate king and his little captain.

The pirate's mute beloved which is a short story also needs a lot of editing lol

Arriving at the port of Faélánd he was excited to show Jack around, he wanted him to see the top of the main temple of the shaman's didn't object. He had written ahead for permission but he knew he wouldn't get the answer until they got there.

Morana had vouched that Jack wouldn't ruin the vibes. Although he didn't fully understand all of that mumbo jumbo, he respected that it was their temple and would always request a visit. He knew it was sacred to them as it had once been a gods shrine.

Kenny laughed and said, “Well that's the fun of being on a ship you know everyone just a little too well to get along with them perfectly”—Jack decided that it was time to mute Kenny for a bit so he pulled him down a couple inches into a kiss — “Where was I?”  He leaned against his side lightly and was tempted to chuckle at the fact Kenny hadn't picked up the clue, although he didn't really mind. The chattering was nice as he listened to Kenny's almost musical voice, not particularly paying attention to the words as he thought about the events of the day and how they might affect the future.

(this should have been done a few days ago but well, life decided to life so here it is a bit late.)

Snippet from TPMB book 1.5 of the pirate's cursed god series.

Kenny said, “Silent Jack..has a nice ring to it don't you think?” He frowned as he was not used to people inquiring for his thoughts on matters, before getting frustrated he couldn't answer. He shrugged and went back to frying the bread in the pork fat.  Kenny said, “Well how about I tell ye a tale of the crew..”  Smiling softly at the fact Kenny seemed fond of talking, it was nice in a way since people didn't tend to talk to him often anymore, beyond giving him orders due to the fact he couldn't respond. Sometimes it would be so quiet that he worried his hearing had gone, he had frequent nightmares about it. He no longer liked the silence, especially if there was no other noise around as it made him worried that he had gone deaf as well as mute.

Friday Writing kiss share

For this week I'm sharing a heated snippet of TPMB/jack and Kenny's book.

Kenny said, “Well, we can take a nap or take advantage of the ship being mostly empty?”

He stretched up and wrapped an arm around the back of Kenny's neck and pulled him down into a kiss, the burning of the fire earlier had nothing on the heat that flowed through him now. Kenny's hands wandered down his back slowly causing a shiver to go down his spine. He silently groaned into his mouth as Kenny pulled him forward and he felt an answering hardness press against his lower stomach. His arms tightened around his neck as the only warning before he jumped and wrapped his legs around Kenny's waist, trusting him to catch him. He pulled away panting, he was amused when Kenny leaned back against the ship and groaned, “you could tempt a siren.”

Down the hall they went and what they did, well, that was between them and perhaps Lord Mew if he stumbled upon them.

He turned the corner to see that Jack was already getting dressed. His eyes lingered for a moment on the exposed lean chest—watching as a shirt covered it, he pouted. 

"Well, I brought some tea,” gesturing to the cup he was holding out. 

Jack walked over and took it from him with a small smile—it was one of the ones that told him that his love was surprised by the action. The thought made him rather mad at those who had raised Jack. He was a little surprised when he raised to stand on his tiptoes to brush their lips together. It was just a peck, really, but it still sent his heart soaring in the skies once again.

He reached out and placed his hand on his waist and said, “Let me know if it's a good blend, and I'll stash some back before we leave Faélánd.”

He turned back to Galen and listened to the trade route options as the crew was getting to decide the next port they stopped at. Kenny was just hoping it wasn't Tarak as he didn't feel like dodging the fleet, they were a wacky bunch.
