TPN 158 Review

I’ve seen a lot of mixed feelings about this chapter but I personally think it’s pretty great, so let’s review it.

The first pages of the chapter were about Musica and her past, being called the miracle child, being praised and persecuted for it. This reminded me a lot of Ymir from Attack on Titan (spoilers) She went through a similar thing as a child cult icon.

Here I really wanted to give her a hug:

On the other end of the spectrum, there’s the Queen, who was also born as a higher being, looking down on the regular demons. However, their mindsets make all the difference. It’s an interesting contrast.

The next panel is probably the most iconic panel of all, I haven’t seen the subreddit but this should definitely become a meme! “Omae wa mou shindeiru!”

This panel is less scary than when it first showed up, but it’s still a treat to savor Demizu’s hard work:

And here, Musica answers her own question from the beginning of the chapter. She was born to change the demon world. This monologue kinda of moved me, it was great to hear her say it herself. I don’t know the plan so far, because she doesn’t have infinite blood, but I’m sure that with Emma, they’ll work something out.

The great Queen Legravalima has finally fallen after battle, it looks horrific but amazing at the same time. However, lots of people thought this resolution was a little cheap and she didn’t know the reason she died. I thought it was fitting though.
