A bunch of headcanons about the Goldy Pond demons because I haven’t really written them down so I’m writing them down now

Luce has called Bayon “dad” multiple times on accident. This is almost always followed up by laughter from the Nou twins and a chuckle or two from Leuvis. Bayon always assures him each time that he’s fine with it though (Bayon best dad material)

Whenever Leuvis and Bayon start getting too sappy and flirty with each other in the vicinity of Nous, Luce, and Nouma, the three all quickly leave (even if they’re eating). Bayon and Leuvis are that kind of old married couple that become really insufferable really fast.

Speaking of Leuvis and Bayon, they’ve been married for the demon equivalent of 30 years (I see them in their early 50’s). This obviously means they definitely don’t get into petty arguments (they do). But most of it is solved by making the other shut up through lots of...making out.

Leuvis has his own diary, which no one will ever read due to the ungodly amount of locks on it. Plus, it’s written in a language he made up, is in reverse, and on top of that, in ciphers.

Parvus is either a nuisance or an angel, no in between. He could steal something from one of the other poachers and get away with it. If they complain to Leuvis about Parvus, he just waves it off. Parvus is a precious little being who can do no wrong in his eyes

The Nou twins and Luce are close friends that play all sorts of games with each other, whether it be board games, sports, etc. One of the board games the three play is whatever the demon world version of DND is. Luce‘s character has horrible luck, Nouma’s keeps on having to roll for death saving throws, and Nous is the tired struggling DM. Leuvis once DM’ed for them, but the three would soon regret allowing him to, for he was ruthless as hell.

Bayon is really good at making tea. Other than that, he can’t cook for shit. For the others, Leuvis can’t cook at all, Luce burns eggs, Nous can fry fish and bake decent pastries, and Nouma can cook a steak.

Bayon has a pet crow named Operiu, who is an asshole to everyone that isn’t Parvus. Leuvis had kept on pestering him to get some kind of companion, and when he didn’t, Leuvis just went and found one for him. The damn crow steals Bayon’s jewelry, somehow carries a knife in its beak at all times, screeches at early hours of the morning, and is an even worse nuisance than Parvus at his worst. To make matters worse, the two cause a lot of mischief together, much to the dismay of everyone. They can’t even get rid of Operiu either, for he always comes back even after being taken out of the hunting ground. The only one who really enjoys his company is Parvus.
