We cannot glorify nuclear weapons. We must remember those who have died in Hiroshima and Nagasaki at the hands of the Americans during war, but we also need to remember the thousands of primarily indigenous people who have died and been affected by the fallout from the THOUSANDS of nuclear tests.
This is an old video now but shows each 'hot' nuclear test done between 1945 - 1998.
It does not show the countless 'cold' tests of depleted plutonium, where radioactive material was scattered on land and people to test direct radiation without the explosion. With a half-life of tens of thousands of years, these cold tests are still damaging people and planet.
To make Oppenheimer without recognition of those indigenous people still suffering horrible cancers and birth deformities from white men and their harmful toys is damaging, insulting, and shameful.
