This weekend has been one of the best weekends of my life!

- I went to an event alone (which is something i wouldn’t have done a couple of years ago) and imagined i’d be alone all weekend but i met some absolutely lovely people who i spent the weekend with and talking to.

- I met Mädchen Amick, Sherilyn Fenn, and Al Strobel on Saturday, and then on Sunday watched their Q&A where they were joined by Julee Cruise and Mina Tobais. It still hasn’t fully sunk in that i met them all! (Side note: Mina is the spitting image of Mädchen!)

- I was lucky enough to see the Murder of Laura Palmer (performed by The Doube R Club) with Mädchen, Sherilyn, and Al in a fantastically made train car.

For the first time in a long time i felt genuinely happy to be somewhere because i knew the people around me liked the same thing as i do. We all liked Twin Peak, nobody was seen as being ‘weird’ or ‘odd’ because of their love of a TV how and nobody thought it was strange that you knew so much about the show or the guests.

I’m more than likely going to be going back next year. I loved every second!
