I did not realize my STRENGTH until I had CANCER. Today February 4th is World Cancer Day. #WeCan #ICan.- . It is a day to raise awareness among the peoples about cancer, how to detect it and how to treat it. World Cancer Day is a day to support the people who are fighting & who have been died of this dreadful disease. Any of us who have experienced cancer will be all too aware of what it can take from us - . It's not an easy journey. I had 3 surgeries in 2 years & I lost my left kidney to cancer.. #LivingWithOneKidney. It's not easy been diagnosed with #CANCER. It's not easy dealing with chemo & the side effects. It's not easy losing our hair & facing uncertainty. I have endured pain & I known hardship. - . You will cry. A lot. But you’ll also laugh. Life is so challenging at times. But here I stand, trying to move forward, one day at a time.. #BeLittleButStronger ☔ We all have bad days but I dont let myself dwell on them. Don't get discouraged. Find one thing to make you laugh each day and find one thing to find gratitude for - . Cancer changed me forever. Hopefully in many small & positive ways.
