I did not realize my STRENGTH until I had CANCER. Today February 4th is World Cancer Day. #WeCan #ICan.- . It is a day to raise awareness among the peoples about cancer, how to detect it and how to treat it. World Cancer Day is a day to support the people who are fighting & who have been died of this dreadful disease. Any of us who have experienced cancer will be all too aware of what it can take from us - . It's not an easy journey. I had 3 surgeries in 2 years & I lost my left kidney to cancer.. #LivingWithOneKidney. It's not easy been diagnosed with #CANCER. It's not easy dealing with chemo & the side effects. It's not easy losing our hair & facing uncertainty. I have endured pain & I known hardship. - . You will cry. A lot. But you’ll also laugh. Life is so challenging at times. But here I stand, trying to move forward, one day at a time.. #BeLittleButStronger ☔ We all have bad days but I dont let myself dwell on them. Don't get discouraged. Find one thing to make you laugh each day and find one thing to find gratitude for - . Cancer changed me forever. Hopefully in many small & positive ways. Thanks to all of you who have been on this journey with me. Thank you for the countless prayers! Your support means the World 🌏to me ❤ I'm so grateful! - . Some of you know that I developed a rare cancer 2 yrs ago #AdrenalCorticolCarcinoma. I had 3 surgeries so far. Two Open Left Adrenalectomy & one Open Left Nephrectomy due to the recurrent tumour already get into my left kidney.  I had my left kidney removed Dec last year. I wonder what life will be like #LivingWithOneKidney - . Radical Nephrectomy is the worst surgery ever. They don't tell you how much pain you will be in nor do they tell you how difficult it is to sleep at night. The DRs don't tell you any of the things you will experience.  I still have some numbness in my stomach area from where the nerves were cut #30cmIncisions & this might not ever heal totally. I still have some back discomfort from time to time where my kidney used to be- . It's a tough journey. I try to live everyday, one day at a time, to the fullest. It is such a tough diagnosis. Try to stay positive, but it's not easy. We all have our bad days when we want to just cry all day. Hang in there and #BeStrongGegurl 💪- . Cancer changed me forever. Hopefully in many small and positive ways.  And now when I look back, there were plenty of great moments. Thanks to all of you who have been on this journey with me. Never Forget.. How far you've come. Everything you have gone through. All the times you have pushed on even when you felt you couldn't. All the morning you got out of your bed no matter how hard it was. All the times you wanted to give up but you got through another day. Never forget how much strength you learned and developed - . Nti Aunty Ena soh baca kad yg dia bagi tu". Me : "Eh nape x kejut mama masa Aunty Ena dtg?". Bambam : "Bkn Aunty Ena antar ada kwn Aunty Ena yg antar. Aunty Ena call jer Eirfan bgtau". Me : pisat2 & senyum sorang2 - . Rindu katil kt ICU ni. Rindu nurse2 ngan doc kt sini gak😍 katil ni nampak jer mcm biasa tapi sgt luar biasa & best giler 😅 Rasa nak bawak balik rumah 😅 katil ni canggih sgt. akak jd gayat.. bila sedar jer suka main tekan2 🤣 katil ni mcm bed massage.. bila kita gerak skit jer ada udara akan pump in kt tilam tu & follow kita nyer position.. pastu nti nurse pasang plak xtau lah apa benda kt kaki.. tapi benda tu akan keep massage both legs.. best angat2 😍😍nurse kata tujuan nyer utk prevent dari darah membeku sebab kaki x bergerak.. bila sejuk plak nurse akan pasang blanket warmer..sejuk giler dlm ICU tu beb 😏- . Nurse2 ngan doc dlm ICU ni baik sgt2.. seorg nurse akan ditugaskan utk seorg pesakit..so nurse tu akan sedia menunggu dlm bilik ICU kita tu.. bila mlm x bole tido nurse ni lah jadi peneman borak 😅 TQ adik nurse yg jaga akak. Dlm pukul 5.30am ada 3 org nurse dtg utk lap2 kan badan dan tukarkan baju segala bagai.. nurse2 ni bgtau "akak rilex jer.. bagi kami Spa akak", hahaha.. seriusly best mmg mcm dlm spa 😅😅 nurse2 ni buat elok2 n lembut jer.. doc2 pula jap2 dtg & bila bgtau sakit or pape yg x selesa dorg cepat buat kasi selesa..kalau pakar bius lagi lah dorg akan make sure kita pain free.. TQ so much to all the nurses and Docs.. You all mmg hebat.. inilah serba sedikit pengalaman dlm ICU di IKN.. nti bila ada kesempatan akak akan share pengalaman dlm wad 6A di IKN.. wad pembedahan perempuan.. pengalaman kali ni sgt berbeza.. sampai dah balik rumah pun still teringat-ingat kt nurse2 dan doc2 kt IKN yg sgt2 baik.. nama jer dok Hospital Kerajaan tp service & kemudahan di IKN mengalahkan private hospital. Kudos IKN 👏Alhamdulillah.. Allah permudahkan segala urusan saya .Terima kasih jua atas doa keluarga & sahabat2 buat saya.. saya masih dalam proses penyembuhan.. . TQ Allah for another day. I had my 3rd surgery on Wednesday 131217 to remove my left kidney and recurrence tumours. Syukur Alhamdulillah my surgery went smoothly.
