Set in the elegant court of the Waldorf Hilton, Paul Costelloe’s Autumn/Winter 2015 collection oozed class. A well heeled audience perched on gleaming white benches, creating a maze for the models dressed in jewel tones (described as “Opulent Emerald, Mulberry, Blush Rose, Sapphire Blue and Bittersweet Orange”) to glide through.
Patterned mini dresses and statement coats accounted for the majority of the pieces, while every look was paired with thigh high black socks and black, wedged ankle boots. Stand out pieces included a high-necked black coat with a full turtleneck, large crystal closures and puffed shoulder leading into slim sleeves.
The veteran designer’s time in the Italian village of Corinaldo inspired the vivid colors, “This reflects my passion for color, texture and feminist to flatter and celebrate the female form.”
