I don't usually involve my personal life too much on here but it's important that I explain my current adventure! Recently I moved to Windsor near London to start work as a model maker technician on the mini land inside Lego land. This was a job that I saw and had no choice but to apply for and some how I got the position. The above picture is from my first interview where I was asked to build anything I liked, I built a trusty steam roller 👍 You may be wondering, how will this affect the model making I will be posting here? Well I will be carrying on through the week with smaller builds for now and going home on weekends to do priming and electrical bits. This will that for now I will need to hold off any commission work. Those people who have contacted me previously about commission projects are aware of this. In time I hope to have settled and be able to carry on with commissions. However I'm looking forward to working on my own things and also things though which I will endeavour to show the whole process of. I want to also thank you all for your support whether you have bought a piece of my work or just liked a post you have contributed to me being successful in this field and enabled me to do the job I know I will love. I'm genuinely very excited to start work at Lego land Windsor and give my all to the job of being a maker 😁 #newjob #fromscratch #lego #tractionengine #legoland #windsor #thankyou #ambition #support #dreamjob #thestart #maker #beginning #creativeart #modelmaker #engineering #handmade #miniatures #support #bricks #scalemodel #scratchbuilder #art #dioramas #selftaughtartist #puzzle #artisan #tbt https://www.instagram.com/p/B1ZInyLHVTP/?igshid=12o6u9b73xqp5
