This intriguing little show was one of my faves; a sleek curation of local labels that, by divine accident or cunning design: bullseye Melbourne looks. A crew from Trade&Investment Victoria (there were 80-odd international delegates at VAMFF) obviously cherrypicked brands beter known for clean silhouettes, pure palettes, fussless tailoring and pristine design principles with that inexplicable dash of quirk so peculiar to mo-dern Melbournians. Arnsdorf, Fame Agenda, Kalaurie and A.BCH took over a polished tract of the Royal Exhibition Building’s mezzanine loft for the first show, then the incomparable Chris Ran Lin was joined by White Story, Nobody Denim and ELLIAT for show two (which I missed, but you get my drift). @arnsdorf @_kalaurie_ @abch.world @fameagenda @chrisranlin @white__story @elliatt @nobodydenim @victoria.trade #tradevic @vamff #vamff #fashion #independant #sustainablefashion #runway #designer (at Royal Exhibition Building)
