Ahhhh thank you so much!! The typeset is INCREDIBLE—those folio-esque motifs everywhere completely floored me. like. exceeding my wildest dreams over here?? the flawless elizabethan vibes it looks SO legit I feel like I just plucked it off Ye Olde Early Modern Printing Press 😍😍😍

and in a totally-not-coincidence, the person who ended up doing the binding is actually a friend who sent me my own physical copy!! do I even need to tell you it has skyrocketed to the top of the list of things I would run back into my burning house to save from a fire

kinda regretting that i never made use of twitter while the dreamer trilogy was still in progress to send stief all of my many MANY questions about her thoughts on hennessy and the girls (like... how stief picked all of the girls' names, if there were any outtakes with more info about them, if hennessy's stepmother had any formative negative influence on her, if hennessy would ever get another ferret, if hennessy is attracted to jordan because she's attracted to herself or she's attracted to what jordan ISN'T, whether hennessy took care of her hair at all on the road trip, whether hennessy's mi arc was influenced by how annoying bryde's windbreaker sounded swishswishswishing, etc). i never did this because i didn't want to be one of those annoying people who demands extracanonical content and treats the author like a vending machine but.... stief really wanted more people to love and engage with hennessy's story and was constantly fielding annoying tweets about adam and declan instead :((( i should have taken advantage of my attachment to someone other than the white boys. my love for hennessy has nothing to do with diversity points (white boy hennessy would fuck me up equally as much) but it does apparently set me apart from the wider fandom. now that stief is moving on from the series, pestering her with hennessy tweets would be even weirder and i'm also not sure how much more extracanonical content i WANT for the series now that it's concluded but. parallel universe where i was deranged enough for stief to gift me hennessy like she gifted lou declan :(
