⸻ ⛧ 𝘐𝘛 𝘐𝘚 𝘕𝘖𝘛 𝘖𝘍𝘛𝘌𝘕 𝘍𝘖𝘙 Nythra to receive an alert through their most ancient of technologies. The Ancestors had installed a safety feature to keep their people from impurity, accidental discovery, & other unwanted happenstances. Any ancestral artifact in the greater galaxy held an automatic frequency signal that could traverse any distance to be received on Nythra so that the issue could be addressed by those who were equipped to do so. Casimir, already en route from another task, was assigned to see to the location of where the signal had transmitted from.
The beacon seemed to move around. From Jedha to hyperspace & eventually settling on Ord Mantell. Casimir had waited at the Nythran outpost, expecting the coordinates to be used for one of the plausible entryways into Nythran space. Instead, he follows the beacon & makes his way to Ord Mantell, keeping communications with the other scouts should he need back up. Since the first signal had been found on Jedha, he was relatively concerned that it was a Jedi that found such information. Yet, why would a Jedi venture here rather than Coruscant or even stay on Jedha?
Casimir lands his Khlalit in a discreet docking bay not too far from the signal. Pulls on his tight cloak, tucks away his knives, & sheaths his sword at his side. He would find the ship that held the beacon inside and took notice that the pilot & crew were already gone. While the ship was empty, he would find a way inside ( whether it's through the hull of the ship or finding a way to unlock it ) to steal the datachip & check whether it was saved to the ship which... was easier said than done. He cannot use another navigation system with the Aurebesh all blurring together. Damn, well, maybe he could convince the pilot to delete it off the system or he could kill the pilot & blow up the ship.
For now, he would try to get as far as he can in the ship's systems without being able to read the options or hardly any data. Maybe he shouldn't have taken this opportunity on his own.
